Behavioral Self-Regulation Skills and the Teacher-Child Relationship in Early Childhood

The present study examined the relationship between children's behavioral self-regulation (BSR) skills and teacher-child (TCR). Furthermore, this investigated contribution of TCR, child's age, parent monthly income, child gender, year attendance in preschool education on BSR assessed by Revised Head-Toes-Knees-Shoulders (HTKS-R). Participants consist 388 children aged 42 to 77 months. Pearson product-moment correlation analysis multivariate linear regression were used data analysis. results show a moderately positive TCR. indicate that except for gender years preschool, income family significantly predict total score skills.
